FRDM Church is honored to partner with Pastor David Smittkamp and Light to Life International Ministry in Kisii, Kenya. Together, we are building a place of faith, healing, and education — a church home for children and families in need of hope. This new branch, FRDM Church Kenya, extends our mission of sharing Jesus through action, empowerment, and community.
Your investment makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we've been called to serve.
Give TodayPastor David, his wife Anne, and their son Levi are the heart of our partnership in Kenya. Together, they serve with passion, humility, and a deep love for their community in Kisii. Through their leadership, children are being educated, families are being supported, and lives are being transformed by the hope of Jesus. The Smittkamps are more than ministry partners — they are family, and we’re honored to stand alongside them as God’s vision for FRDM Kenya unfolds.
Together with our partners in Kenya, we’re laying the foundation for lasting transformation — spiritually, educationally, and economically
Our vision is to provide holistic care for the community — through education, outreach, discipleship, and restoration. Here’s what we’re building together:
Offering children access to quality early education with a strong spiritual foundation — shaping minds and hearts for the future.
Creating a safe, loving space for working families to leave their little ones, rooted in Christian care and early learning.
Reaching children experiencing homelessness with compassion, resources, and long-term support — a pathway to healing and hope.
Teaching practical trade skills to youth and adults, empowering them to create stable careers and serve their communities.
Equipping young creatives with the tools to worship, express themselves, and grow in excellence through a state-of-the-art facility.
Building safe, Christ-centered housing where children can thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Providing recovery, counseling, and restoration to those battling addiction — bringing freedom through faith and support.
As we look at what God is doing through our partnership in Kenya, we are filled with gratitude and expectancy. The harvest has already begun — and there is so much more ahead. Farmers don’t just hope for a harvest; they prepare for one. Though the field may be in a different nation, the principle remains the same: what we sow in faith, God multiplies.
This is an opportunity to plant seeds in fertile soil — to invest in real lives, real transformation, and a future full of hope. As we move toward our above-and-beyond giving moment, we invite you to prayerfully consider how you can be part of what God is building through FRDM Kenya.
All for Jesus,
