I wonder what the song Because of You of Kelly Clarkson was for. I mean who was the you that she was referring to? Was she referring to her ex or was she referring to one of her parents? The reason I asked that is it's because of the line because of you I am afraid to stray too far from the sidewalk. That line to me means whoever wrote the song meant he or she is afraid of trying new things because of the hurt that they have experienced with that person. That even if they find themselves liking a person they would stop themselves. The even if they find out who called on their hearts has nothing but good intentions, they will not accept it. I guess it is true that love is just like fear. I think you can even say that it is fear in itself. Wow! Isn't it funny that I think this way now? I always thought of love as something noble. That it is something pure. My goodness, I haven't even experienced being loved. |
