My favorite pair of boots are a pair of motorcycle boots. While the weather is telling me to get snow boots - in fact I bought both my sons snow boots for kids - you'll still find me in my motorcycle boots. They are very worn in and the soles are starting to come off a bit. They are well worn and the leather is starting to flake off at the toes. They have chains, studs and leather straps across the back and a low, one inch heel. The black straps are removable as well. They are black and come up about ankle height. I purchased them at Rue21 and have had them about 2 years. For $40 they are well worth the price. I wear them with everything – dresses, jeans, shorts, and work clothes. They are very comfortable and great for walking long distances, but sturdy enough to wear for a long job. The insides are lined with a soft, fuzzy material that makes them comfortable and warm. I wear these boots nearly every day and have even worn them when traveling cross country. They make me feel tough to have edgy boots with chains on them, and that is why I enjoy them so much. |
